Canterbury Entertainer Application 2023

Thank you For you Application to the Canterbury Renaissance Faire. Our event happens in late July for 2023 this is the 22, 23 and 29, 30. Please remember that our biggest goal is to give the best possible immersive experience to our Patrons and we request that you do you best to make your booth and personal garb appear appropriate to a setting of Renaissance England (1550-1600).

Applications are due June 1st 2023, Sooner is better then later, we will fill slots as acceptable applications are received. Please Contact canterburyfaire@gmail.com with Questions or if you need to edit your application.

Stages and guild yards

Stages are provided, if you want your own stage area and will use it consistently, Please let us know how much space you need. Spaces may or may not be possible. We can offer some smaller spaces for storage on the hill if needed.

Space needs to be occupied and active during all show hours and must be decorated appropriately. Larger areas may effect payment negotiations.
How child friendly is your show?*
A guild is a group that does it's performances in it's own space, rather then on a stage.
Will you be selling merchandise as well as performing? Will you require a booth space? If so, What size will you need? Width and depth. This may impact payment negotiations

GUILDS

If you are a guild, a group of people that are ongoing performing or demonstrating a period activity like blacksmithing, archery, fighting, music or making something. We ask that your guild to help out with set up of the Faire and/or tear down. There is no charge for your guild to be at Faire. We will also need to know the size of the area that you will need.

We have camping on site for participants, as well as RV parking for large rigs.*
We provide porta pots only. You must be self contained. If you are using a generator, it MUST BE QUIET!!!! Clean up your trash into the dumpster provided. To keep this organized we need to know if your staying on site as our space is limited and we need to keep it organized. If you have questions Please email canterburyfaire@gmail.com

ALL BOOTHS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN APPROVED FIRE EXTINGUISHER IN THE BOOTH

The Undersigned hereby agree to hold harmless Canterbury Renaissance Faire and Whitewind Productions LLC, Whitewind Woodland LLC and any staff there of of any person involved with the Canterbury Renaissance Faire Held in July of 2023 for any and all damaged to persons and property resulting from acts of God, theft, vandals or For injury or medical emergency. Further the above person, groups and organizations shall be held harmless for any cause of action, claim, petition filed in any court, or administrative tribunal arising out of said event, including all costs, attorney's fees, judgments or awards.

Covid-19 and our Responsibilities.

Welcome back!  We are excited to see you again (or for the first time). We are very happy to be able to return to our lovely hillside in Silverton. We will still be required to follow all federal, state and local mandates regarding health concerns. Updates regarding these mandates (if any) in June and early July. We strongly encourage all our merchants, entertainers, volunteers and staff to be vaccinated.
